Itinerary


Day 1 Monday - Istanbul / Cappadocia

Upon arrival to Istanbul International airport proceed to domestic terminal and catch your connection flight to Cappadocia ( Kayseri airport ). Upon arrival we transfer you to your authentic cave hotel for overnight. Optionally you can take a Turkish Hamam ( Bath ) tour .
Overnight in Cappadocia at boutique Heaven Cave Hotel.


Day 2 Tuesday - Cappadocia Highlights
Includes Breakfast Lunch

After the breakfast we visit Devrent Valley to see the unigue fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabağ (Monk's Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to the city of Avanos. We give a break for a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit another beautiful open air museum at Göreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years.Lastly, visit the natural castles at Uçhisar.
After the tour we’ll drive to your hotel. Free evening or you can ask your guide to join a night show and entertain with a belly dance show. Early morning Hot Air Balloon Flights are available in the region. Overnight in Cappadocia.


Day 3 Wednesday - Flight To Istanbul

After the breakfast we transfer you to airport to flight Istanbul - Queen of the cities. Indian Dinner is our complimentry. Optional Dinner cruise is our recommodation for this night. Overnight in Istanbul. 4 * Grand Star Hotel or similar.


Day 4 Thursday - Istanbul Classics Tour

After the breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel lobby for the for the tour of Istanbul old city. HIPPODROME, The center of sport activities with its four monuments; The GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, Egyptian Obelisk, SERPENTINE COLUMN and the COLUMN OF CONSTANTINE. The BLUE MOSQUE The most famous mosque of Istanbul which is known as the BLUE MOSQUE as well because of its beautiful blue Iznik tiles.
St. SOPHIA This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time.
GRAND BAZAAR(COVERED MARKET) In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area; the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brasware and trays, water ewers, onyxware and meerschaum pipers.After the tour travellers who want can join Bosphorus cruise with extra fee and extent their sightseeing. Overnight in Istanbul.


Day 5 Friday - Flight to Athens

After the breakfast you’ll be transferred to IST airport to take your flight to Athens, one of the world’s oldest cities.Meet and assist at International Athens Airport and transfer to your hotel. Your hotel is in the city centre, you can take your first stroll in the city by your own or ask your tour operator to join Athens night tour with a dinner in traditional taverna. Overnight in Athens. 4 * Ilissos Hotel.


Day 6 Saturday - Athens City Tour With Acropolis

You will picked up straight from your hotel lobby for a wonderful panoramic tour of Athens city. You will see the Marble stadium of the first Olympic games of modern times, the triplex of the Library, the Academy and the University buildings and, of course, the Parliament and Syntagma Square. Then you will be dropped off at the Temple of Zeus, just at the footsteps of Acropolis to visit the New Acropolis Museum. Lots of time still available for a nice stroll up the wonders on The Rock of Acropolis to see the Parthenon, the Temple of Athena Niki and by the way admire the fantastic view of Athens city. Overnight in Athens.


Day 7 Sunday - Flight To Thessaloniki

Pick up for morning flight to Thessaloniki - Macedonia of Greece. Arrival at the airport in Thessaloniki, pick-up and transfer to hotel. After the check in, you will have free time to discover and explore the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 4 * Capsis hotel or similar.


Day 8 Monday - Thessaloniki / Meteora / Thessaloniki
Includes Breakfast Dinner

After breakfast in hotel, we will drive to the village of Kalambaka, in central Greece. Set at the feet of the Meteora mountains, the town has a long tradition in the production of hand-made, wood-carved objects, but also in the making of religious icons that are painted by domestic artists. Home-made sausages and top-quality meat, cheese and yoghurt are highly ranked in the gastronomical list of domestic products. Visit of 2 of the impressive Meteora byzantine monasteries “hanging” on the top of the rocks. Free time for lunch and shopping. Return to Thessaloniki, dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 9 Tuesday - Guided Thessaloniki Tour

After breakfast, the guide will lead you through the discovery of beautiful Thessaloniki, a city that boasts 2300 years of history. The highlights of the sightseeing will be the white tower, symbol of the city, the archaeological museum, the picturesque old town, the Byzantine church of St. Demetrius, the Arch of Galerius, the Rotunda church and the lively city center. After the end of the visits, you can remain in town for shopping or a walk on the seaside. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 10 Wednesday - Thessaloniki – Mount Athos Cruise – Thessaloniki

After breakfast in hotel, departure for the port of Ormos Panagias. Embarkation for the cruise around the peninsula of Mount Athos, to admire the beautiful monasteries of the holy mountain. During the return sailing, stop-over in the village of Ouranoupoli, where there will be free time for lunch, shopping or a quick swim. Return to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 11 Thursday - Thessaloniki / Pella / Vergina / Thessaloniki / Plovdiv

After breakfast, departure for the visit of the archaeological site of Pella, the ancient capital of Macedonia and birthplace of Alexander the Great. Guided tour of the site and the museum. Continuation to the archaeological site of Vergina, once the capital of the Macedonian kingdom and nowadays one of the most important archeological sites of Greece. Visit of the museum with the Royal tomb of King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. Return to Thessaloniki for dinner and overnight at the hotel. After the visit, the driver will drive you to the Greek boarders of Promachonas. There a guide will join the bus. The first stop in Bulgaria will be in the city of Plovdiv, where there will be time for a short panoramic city tour before reaching the hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 12 Friday - Plovdiv – Rila Monastery – Sofia

After breakfast in hotel, guided city tour of Plovdiv, with its main interesting sightseeing points: the historical center, the ethnographic museum, the church of St. Constantin and Helen, the Roman amphitheater, Lamartine’s house and the Jumaya mosque. Continuation to the monastery of Rila, which is the biggest and most important of Bulgaria. After the visit of the monastery, departure for Sofia. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 13 Saturday - Sofia
Includes Breakfast Dinner

After breakfast, guided city tour of the bulgarian capital: the historical center, the famous cathedral of Alexander Nevski, the church of St. Sofia and the Rotunda of St. George. Visit of the beautiful museum of Christian Orthodox art and the Russian church of St. Nicholas. Free lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 14 Sunday - Sofia Airport

After breakfast in hotel, airport transfer for departure flight.
